RocNet Supply, Stomping Ground and Roc Restorative provide tablets to nominated RCSD students
RocNet Supply partnered with Stomping Ground and Roc Restorative to provide 20 tablets to a selected group of Rochester City School District students that were nominated by teachers and principals for displaying radical empathy and being restorative leaders in their schools. With these tablets, the kids are able to join Hometown, a platform that offers virtual and interactive activities that kids can do safely at home. Kids can sign up for online baking, dungeons and dragons, coding, crafting, music, yoga, dance, and many other options and classes. The students who received the tablets will also be able to use them for school in the Fall.
We’re proud to partner with these amazing organizations to do what we can to help out our community!

HTSG (Hometown Stomping Ground – the virtual iteration of Camp Stomping Ground) has now served over 200 families, and has covered almost 16 weeks of programming. It operates on a sliding scale, so any family is able to attend, and about 32% of campers come on some level of scholarship. Through the tablet donation, we were able to bring on almost 30 new campers from the Rochester City School District!
Roc Restorative makes spaces so people can heal and build stronger communities. “We envision schools where peace, equity, social justice, and academic excellence are achieved through a collaborative effort of all school-community members to engage in restorative practices to build relationships, respond to and repair harm and wrongdoing, as well as to learn from one another. Our team, through ongoing coaching and support, partners with schools to recognize and enhance existing and additional resources, provide training, and design and evaluate professional learning opportunities.”
